had a not-so subtle message for her followers as she shared a selection of new photos on Instagram.
The 1000-Lb Sisters star has been on , after dropping nearly 200lbs.
She has clearly kept up the hard work away from the cameras, and without the aid of a walker or wheelchair.
However, some had suggested that she should stop using a filter over her pictures, insisting that she ‘didn’t need’ the added features.
It seems as though the 36-year-old took the comments to heart and followed their advice, uploading a selection of new images for fans as she posed filter-free and .
In case fans didn’t quite get the memo, Tammy captioned the post: ‘6 beautiful photos of myself without filters.’
Many were living for the snaps but urged the TLC favorite to ignore the haters, and keep up the filters if they made her happy.
‘Girl, Your beautiful inside and out! Don’t let anyone tell you to stop using a filter,’ one penned. ‘If you want to use them for fun, you use them! [sic].’
‘You look great, congratulations, all your hard work shows. You are glowing from the inside out. Keep going beautiful,’ a fan praised.
Another agreed: ‘I’m so proud of you Tammy!!! And thank you for showing your true beauty with no filters!! You don’t need them!!’
‘And NO oxygen! Way to go! You look fantastic,’ a follower cheered.
An Instagram user said: ‘Add any damn filter you want to!!!! You have done an amazing job throughout your journey, don’t let ANYONE take anything away from that.’
‘@queentammy86 congratulations, Tammy! You and your sister should be so proud of yourselves,’ a commenter added. ‘I hope that you have learned to drown out all the negative comments that people leave.
‘Notoriety comes with two sides of a coin and you both should be proud of all you’ve accomplished, and stay true to yourselves while forgetting about all the haters.’
Tammy has been over the last few months, following her near-fatal health scare.
On the season three finale of 1000-Lb Sisters, which aired last year, she was rushed to hospital after she ‘quit breathing’, shortly after arriving at a food rehab center.
She was placed in a coma with doctors informing her loved ones that her lungs had ‘given up’ and her body was ‘shutting down’.
Thankfully, she woke up soon after and checked back into the weight loss facility to continue on in her efforts, and eventually lost nearly 200lbs so that she could undergo weight loss surgery.
However, Tammy recently explained that she still has a long way to go in her journey, and is still struggling with the impact of her hospital visit.
In a TikTok video where she was meant to be reviewing candles, she told viewers: ‘Today I have a candle unboxing review. I can’t light it because I’m clearly on oxygen.
‘I’m still on oxygen because my lungs aren’t completely healed from being on life support.
‘They are still not completely healed but they are really getting so much better.
‘I’m not completely dependent on oxygen anymore. I can go at least five hours without it.’
