Bobak Kianoush from the beloved boyband, Another Level, now looks completely different years on from his success with the band.
Dane Bowers, Wayne Williams, Mark Baron and Bobak, Another Level was a beloved boyband of the 90s that had success in the decade until their breakup in 2000.
The boy group had huge success with the song Freak Me which was released in 1998 and was a cover of the Silk song of the same name released in 1992.
The singers also had success with Be Alone No More, From The Heart, Bomb Diggy and Guess I Was A Fool.
While they may have been one of the biggest boybands of the late nineties, Bobak looks completely different today, decades on from his music career.
The singer was known for his shaved bald head and clean-shaven face, so is completely unrecognisable now with a full head of hair and a stubbly beard.
In 2021, the group reunited for the Kisstory festival. The singer looked completely different for this one-off event and shared on social media: ‘It could not have meant more than performing in London, our home crowd, after 22 years with my brothers @markbaron132 & @danebowers . Thank you London. It could not have meant more.’
Although he did perform at this London gig, the singer has left his vocal talents in the past and has had a complete career change since stepping back from the industry decades ago.
Bobak moved to Los Angeles after the group split and modelled for Gap, Valentino, and Macy’s. But then in a major change of pace, he then turned to consulting and later product development and production.
He studied law at Queen Mary’s, University of London, and entered the property business.
The former boy band member is currently working on a 17-acre luxury real estate property development with a focus on sustainability.
His social media is full of photos of his family, his pets, and his holiday – his life a serene and likely a far cry from his boyband days.
In 2023, he welcomed his second child, a daughter named Melody. On social media, he penned: ‘Distilling down the idea of becoming and being a parent: among a multitude of things, is surely the wish that their little feet eventually carry them further through life than did your own.
‘Welcome to the world sweet ‘Melody’ ❤️ thank you to the co-producer of my two greatest hits @iamfleur for your endless sacrifice and for giving me the only things that matter.’
