Having suddenly last week, she wrote: ‘I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning.
‘To everyone who has ever worked on the show over the years, thank you so much. This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we’ve done together.
‘Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive. To every guest who has sat on our sofa, thank you.’
Holly began her career at 14 as a model, claiming she was the ‘face of sanitary towels’ when chatting to Jonathon Ross.
By 17 years old she decided to leave the modelling world behind out of fear of the strain on her body given the tough beauty standards.
Her TV break came in 2000 when she appeared on CITV’s spin-off show, S Club TV, and then acted in an S Club 7 movie, portraying the late Paul Cattermole’s first girlfriend, named Zoe.
During the early years of her career, Holly frequented children’s TV as a regular presenter.
She jumped ship in 2004 to ITV so she could present Saturday morning children’s show Ministry Of Mayhem alongside Stephen Mulhern before taking over from Cat Deeley on children’s music chart show CD:UK.

During her time on the ITV staple, she and her co-host swept up numerous NTAs with a six-year winning streak for Best Daytime Show until last year.
While appearing on This Morning she also continued her role on Celebrity Juice with Keith Lemon as a team captain.
She has hosted numerous other contest shows, including The Voice, The Games, and temporarily I’m a Celeb with Declan Donnelly.
This year she even branched back out into acting as she appeared in Ted Lasso and a hilarious stint on Midsommer Murders.
Holly also has been a regular guest panelist on numerous shows, including Loose Women and The Masked Dancer.
Her comes as a shock to fans after her triumphant return earlier this year – with Alison Hammond joining her for a Mamma Mia themed welcome.
However she has also garnered criticism in more recent years, including after the Queen’s death where she and Schofield were accused of skipping the mourners’ queue.
