Daniel Radcliffe may sometimes struggle with being globally famous, but he is determined to keep working his magic.
The star insists acting will never lose its spell over him. ‘There were times when I was annoyed by not knowing how to handle fame, but there was never a point where I wanted to walk away from being on set,’ he explained.
‘It’s the best place I have found to be and I feel so lucky to have done that. I will fight tooth and claw to never be dragged off one.’
Dan, 33, had wand-erful things to say about Potter co-stars such as and Gary Oldman.
‘They can act as well as anyone, but they don’t in any way make other people’s lives unpleasant, or behave like we’re doing some incredibly sacred thing,’ he shared. ‘Brilliant talent, but a healthy irreverence as well.’
Up next is the actor’s most ‘Rad’ project to date, donning a dodgy perm to play US parody singer Al Yankovic in the biopic Weird. ‘I was very intimidated by the prospect of playing someone who I’m a fan of,’ he spilled.
Speaking to the Radio Times podcast View From My Sofa, Dan told how he and his girlfriend Erin Darke relax.
‘Erin and I really got into Lego during the pandemic, so above the TV there is an International Space Station, the gates from Jurassic Park and a T-Rex. Very grown-up,’ he quipped.
