has admitted he had a game plan for his Love Island return.
The 27-year-old  of the series as he left before the final with Welsh paramedic , although not long later they called it quits.
Now, Adam has confessed he would absolutely ‘choose the right person’ in the villa to help himself stay on the ITV2 dating show.
‘The thing with is I’m the only one who is willing to admit it, I would completely choose the right person to stay on the show,’ he told . ‘That’s why I got back on the show in my eyes, they realised I didn’t care about anything.’
He insisted everyone on the show understands the nature of ‘the game’, but he struggled with his second stint because he saw ‘everything’ that was going on.
‘We all know the game. It was really hard for me the second time because I could see through everything, it is unbelievable how clear it is the second time,’ he said.
‘It messes with your head, you almost convince yourself you like these people and then once you see the light and get back home you realise you aren’t a perfect match.’
Last year, he became the first former Islander to go back as a bombshell, and now he has weighed in on ITV’s new rule this year that contestants’ social media profiles remained ‘dormant’ during their time in the villa.
‘I don’t know if I would have said yes the second time if they had said that to me because what is the point,’ he explained. ‘I don’t feel sorry for anyone who puts themselves in that situations.
‘Unless you are from one of the early series, the first three series you could come off and have a normalish life but now everyone is going on to strive to be a Molly-Mae.’
Adam had first entered the reality dating series in 2018, where he was coupled up with , and the couple even moved in together before going their separate ways.
Meanwhile he previously but admitted bosses might not be quite as keen.
He said: ‘I’d consider Love Island for a third time, but I don’t think producers would have me back as I was too soppy and didn’t cause enough drama.’
