has continued to baffle fans as he celebrated his 53rd birthday – even though he definitely is closer to 24.

The Ant-Man actor, , repeatedly causes confusion for continuing to look as youthful as he did when he hit the big screen in Clueless, in 1995.

Fans couldn’t quite understand how he was marking his 53rd birthday on April 6, and flocked to social media to question his credentials.

Best pal Mark Ruffalo led celebratory messages on his big day on Twitter, penning: ‘Can’t contain my excitement for today is the Sexiest Man Alive’s birthday!

‘Sending all the love to #PaulRudd. Happy birthday, my guy!’

‘Happy Birthday to my Tiny King, Paul Rudd! He’s 53 today (allegedly),’ a fan said.

‘Happy Birthday to #PaulRudd a man of many talents and one age. But seriously wish this awesome human a Happy Birthday when you get a chance,’ another agreed.

‘Happy belated birthday Paul Rudd I hope you start aging soon or something [sic],’ a follower joked.

A Twitter user wrote: ‘Happy Birthday #PaulRudd who turns 53 and still looks 40. That man is timeless.’

‘#PaulRudd Makes 53 look like 23 man, happy birthday sir,’ one posted, as a social media fan added: ‘#PaulRudd is allegedly 53 today. Sorry, I don’t buy it.’

Seriously Paul, if you want to drop that skin-care routine, we need all your secrets.

It’s a big year for the Friends star, who was also named People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2021, nabbing the title from last year’s winner Michael B Jordan.

Speaking to the publication about the honor, he said: ‘I do have an awareness, enough to know that when people hear that I’d be picked for this, they would say, “What?”

‘This is not false humility. There are so many people that should get this before me.’

Paul is in good company, as previous holders of the title include Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, George Clooney and Idris Elba.

Not too shabby.
