wasted no time paying tribute to girlfriend in a beautiful Mother’s Day post as the Little Mix singer celebrated her first as a new mum.
Sharing a beautiful black-and-white photo of Perrie and baby son Axel, he wrote: ‘The first one is always special… Happy Mother’s Day to the best mum my lil man could ever have wished for!’
Axel is now over so it’s not a recent snap, but gorgeous nonetheless as Perrie adoringly kisses her son’s forehead.
Fans were quick to comment on the photo, littering it with heart emoji as the majority noted how adorable mum and son looked. ‘He was SO TINY!’ wrote one, while others agreed that Perrie was the ‘best mum ever’.
Perrie, 28, and Alex, 27, became parents last summer after on August 21.
The pop star initially announced the news of her son’s birth with a black and white photo of Axel’s hand before later sharing a full picture of the newborn’s face and confirming his name.
The Touch singer and player have been dating since November 2016, going public with their relationship three months later.
The pair announced they were expecting their first child in May 2021 before revealing Axel had been born in August of the same year. The couple are clearly doting parents, and Perrie in particular delights in giving fans updates on her baby boy – remember her? – who she refers to as ‘her sunshine’.
Outside of motherhood, Perrie recently revealed that partner Alex has been as she works on her business ranges, including the launch of her.
‘I loved hearing other people’s opinions when it comes to design or how to improve areas that need looking into. Alex was a big part of this with me. He sat in many sample sessions with me looking at product and plans for the business,’ she told .
Alex wasn’t the only public figure posting a Mother’s Day tribute, David and were also among the stars paying tribute to their as they celebrated on Sunday.
