is set to give birth in the coming weeks but she’s managed to, very wisely, squeeze in some quality time with boyfriend Darren Randolph before the sleepless nights begin.
The couple have been enjoying some time away on a beach holiday – or babymoon if you rather – as they expect their first child.
They after less than a year of dating.
Alexandra has been keeping fans updated on their holiday via Instagram with sweet photos of her and footballer Darren loved-up on the beach.
In one snap, the couple are seen indulging in cups of ice cream while chilling on the sand, while another shows Alexandra lounging on her side with her baby bump exposed in a two-piece bikini. One cute photo features their shadows holding hands on the sand.
They’re not entirely alone on the babymoon as Alexandra brought along her dogs Bella Rose and Skye for the relaxation getaway.
It’s been a much-needed break for Alexandra who continued performing in the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat production until she was eight months pregnant. However, she bowed out for maternity leave in April.
Alexandra, who is due to give birth in June, announced their baby news in a short video which showed her and Darren walking their multiple dogs in a park, holding hands and taking selfies together. For the grand reveal, Darren bent down and kissed her baby bump before the pair shared a sweet kiss.
It’s believed Alexandra, 33, and Darren, 35, have been dating since at least May 2021, as the Elephant singer appeared to confirm their romance by sharing a cute selfie of them together.
Confirming their relationship, a source told The Sun at the time: ‘It’s early days and Alexandra has deliberately taken things incredibly slowly.
‘They’ve had a series of dates but not been able to meet up as much as they would have wanted due to her hectic work schedule and the Covid restrictions.
‘Alexandra was extremely reluctant to date another footballer but Darren is the sweetest, most down-to-earth guy — and incredibly charming. He wore her down.’
The couple went public with their romance at the Dune premiere in London last October, walking the red carpet together and looking loved-up.
