The Slovenian pro dancer, who from the primetime BBC show after nine years in March, is currenty on tour with his wife in Leicester.
However, his head was clearly in sunnier climes as she shared a NSFW picture of Janette emerging from the sea in pink bikini bottoms, with her hair slicked back and crossing her arms over her chest.
‘Looking for a mermaid? I found mine.. ?’, her loved-up husband wrote, tagging his wife in the shot.
Fellow Strictly star Nancy Xu was clearly impressed, leaving a string of fire emojis.
TV medic Dr Zoe Williams also signalled her admiration, commenting: ‘Beauty ❤️’
Fans were also curious as to the location of the touring couple, with one joking: ‘OMG what part of London is that ??’
Others lavished Janette with praise, calling her a ‘Bond lady’.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, have been stalwarts of Strcitly for many years now, with Janette switching to a presenting role in 2021, replacing Zoe Ball in the line-up for companion show It Takes Two.
However, she revealed earlier this year that to allow her to return to the dancefloor with Aljaž so the pair could dance to Ed Sheeran’s performance of Bad Habits during the last series’ final.
That turned out to be the couple’s last hurrah after Aljaž announced his departure.
Now BBC bosses are on the hunt for his replacement, and they reportedly have their eye on .
A source said: ‘Strictly bosses have drawn up a wishlist and would love Pasquale as long as they could prise him away from the Irish show.’
Pasquale, 32, has lifted the coveted Glitterball trophy three times during his career, after two wins on Ireland’s Dancing With The Stars, and once on the Belgian version.

In March, the BBC confirmed that show regulars Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano Di Prima, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, , Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Giovanni Pernice, , Kai Widdrington, Luba Mushtuk, and Nancy Xu will all be coming back.
Viewers will also get to see more of newbies Cameron Lombard and Jowita Przystal, who both made their debut in 2021.
However, Aljaz wasn’t the only dancer to quit the show this year, as the flagship programme after seven years and two consecutive wins in February.
