has revealed a dramatic new haircut just weeks after quitting .
The Sherlock actress, 51, who last month, after her absence from a live show , has got a pixie cut with a punky side fringe.
Before the BBC ballroom series, Amanda had short blonde hair before dying it back brown for her performances with, and even wearing long hair for one routine.
The Mr Selfridge star showed off her new look on Instagram, sharing a picture of her ‘do and captioning the post: ‘Finally got a haircut… ??.’
Her hair transformation went down a storm with her 140K followers, particularly her, who wrote: ‘I’m so lucky.’
Strictly’s Ellie Leach also admired Amanda’s edgy hairstyle, sharing: ‘Erm obsessed ???? ???.’
Comedy legend Dawn French similarly gave it the thumbs up, writing simply: ‘YES INDEEDY.’
According to reports, Amanda , even for the finale, which typically sees all of the eliminated contestants team up with their partner for one final dance.
BBC producers were said to be keen for Amanda and Giovanni to dance together again to prove there was ‘no bad blood’ between the pair after they were dogged with – but she declined the invitation.
The Doc Martin star has previously rubbished speculation of a feud, while Giovanni posted a heartfelt message on Instagram along with a picture of themselves backstage after she quit.
‘Amanda .. I am so sad we can’t continue but I am proud of what we achieved and I am sending you so much love,’ he simply wrote.
She later revealed why she had quit the BBC One competition, writing: ‘It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly.
‘I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons I am unable to continue.
‘It was an absolute joy working with my fellow contestants, they are a beautiful, hardworking and talented group of people who I love and who I will miss seeing every Friday and Saturday and competing alongside.
‘I want to thank the incredible Production team and everyone on Strictly who looked after me and who are so kind and caring. It’s a wonderful bunch of people and I’ll miss all of them.’
Amanda concluded: ‘I’m so sad that I am unable to go any further. Thank you to everyone who voted and who sent wonderful messages and inspiring support. You are all amazing. Truly. Thank you. xxx’
