Amanda Kloots has marked the two-year anniversary of the day she dropped husband Nick Cordero off to the hospital before he died from Covid-19.
The Broadway star was admitted to hospital in March 2020 after contracting coronavirus and
Sharing a photo of Cordero cuddling their son Elvis, who was less than a year old at the time, in bed before he was taken to hospital, Amanda told her followers: ‘Two years ago today Elvis and I dropped Nick off at the emergency room at Cedar Sinai hospital.
‘I remember telling him that I’ll park the car, take Elvis for a walk and pick him up in a couple hours. We both thought he’d be out in a couple hours.
‘I had no idea that would be the last time I would see and talk to him as I knew him. March 30th he was
Kloots continued: ‘In grief and loss I think there are days that will forever stay with us. March 30th will be one of those days for me.Â
‘In retrospect, I’ve learned a great deal from this day. You just can’t take for granted time you have with people. You truly don’t know if and when you’ll see them again. We are not invincible.

Cordero had been admitted to hospital with Covid and had suffered numerous complications from the condition,as a result of blood clots.
The Tony Award nominee died after four months battling the virus in hospital, just a month after the couple’s son turned one year old.Â
