The wife of was reportedly left blindsided after being left for the star.
Earlier this week Amanda, 48, was seen travelling in a car with a man, believed to be her new beau, businessman Robert Davies, 71.
However now it’s been reported that Robert’s wife Yusami, 56, was completely caught off guard when he ended their 12-year marriage and walked out of their family home after admitting he was having an affair with Amanda.
Friends of Yusami have said she last year when she found a love letter to her husband while she was cleaning his car.
‘She is absolutely heartbroken by what’s happened. She can’t believe it,’ they said.
‘She gave up a career in banking after meeting Rob in Tokyo and he persuaded her to leave all of her family and friends in Japan to start a new life with him in the UK.
‘Now he has left her on her own to start a new relationship with Amanda. She is so upset and lonely,’ a source told the.
Web designer Robert has been married four times, while Amanda from husband Clive, 68, in July last year.
The couple had been married for 22 years and , but separated after hitting a ‘rocky patch’.
The publication reported that Amanda and Robert have known each other for at least five years after she and Clive recruited him to update her personal website in 2018.
The source added: ‘Yusami suspected for some time that Robert was up to something. She felt as if he wasn’t really present around her and that his head was somewhere else.’
‘She was cleaning out the car and she found a handwritten note. There was no name but it was pretty clear who it was from,’ they added.
‘Yasumi asked Rob for an explanation and he said he had fallen in love with Amanda and that they had been seeing each other for five years.’
The revelation was said to be a ‘bolt out of the blue’ for Yusami after she moved across the world for her husband.
She is said to have known of her husbands friendship with Amanda, but initially believed it was ‘nothing more’ before finding the letter.
When approached by MailOnline, Yasumi said she was ‘so surprised and sad’ to learn about Robert’s relationship with Amanda.
‘He has always been really caring to me and he is a nice person. I had a really lovely life with him. But I really can’t say anymore.’
Amanda and Clive first met in 1995 and appeared on ITV’s The Dales in 2011 before Our Yorkshire Farm started in 2018.
It wrapped up last year.
Earlier this year Amanda said she and was ‘getting on with my life as an independent woman, looking after the kids… and my sheep’.
She also said there had not been anybody involved in the break-up and she didn’t understand ‘why this is being suggested’.
