He added that he has finally got the time to do it as he is not in training for a fight, and had only appeared on it last time as he was out of the ring with a hand injury at the time.

Amir told : ‘I enjoyed it. It’s one of the best things I ever did. Going in the jungle, being away from everyone, being focused, focusing on you and what you want to do in life.

‘The team I had around me was amazing, everyone was great and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had – apart from seeing spiders and snakes and s**t.’

Amir had previously appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2018 and fast became one of the most remembered contestants for his fear of bugs and for secretly scoffing strawberries behind his fellow campmates’ backs.

next year as a spin-off alongside the main show, which will make its return to Australia after two years.

The past two series have taken place in a castle inn Wales rather than the jungle due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the difficulties with international travel during this time.

According to reports, the new series will air in 2023 and ‘will see all of the iconic names who have made the show so popular over the years return to the campfire and battle it out to be crowned the Best Of champion.’

‘There are so many to choose from and they’re sounding out the most talked-about ones now,’ The Sun claims.
