It turns out the one thing won’t invest in is an expedition to look for hidden gold, which she says is the craziest pitch she’s ever got.

Twitch streamer is known for many things, including how candid she is with how she spends her money, having made numerous, seemingly random investments.

From to , we were starting to think there was nothing Amouranth wouldn’t invest in so long as it could turn a profit.

Recently, however, her fans were made privy to what her limits are, as she was apparently once asked to fund what was essentially a treasure hunt.

Describing it as the craziest investment pitch she’s ever received (suggesting she gets a few of these), it would have involved an expedition to the Republic of Congo to ‘obtain and ascertain the purity/karat rating of gold coming out of there.’

Although she hasn’t elaborated on the specifics, it seems Amouranth turned the proposal down. According to her it sounded more like a Twitch reality show about ‘a team of socially maladjusted mega streamers.’

When put like that it’s actually surprising she did turn it down, but given some of the nonsense some influencers, pull, we wouldn’t be surprised if someone else tried it instead.

That’s not to say Amouranth hasn’t partaken in some bizarre business decisions. She did start for upwards of $1,000. Although what’s even weirder is that people must’ve been willing to buy them.

While she doesn’t sound like she’s going to be struggling financially any time soon, her Twitch career was recently hit with a setback when .

It took out her streaming equipment too, although she’s yet to show the extent of the damage.
