has been called out by fans for a shady comment he made about while giving critique, with one saying the remark was ‘too personal’ for their liking.
On tonight’s episode of the BBC programme, the celebrities and their professional dance partners made their way to the famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom for a very special week.
Tyler and his partner paid homage to the disco epoch with their energetic Salsa, performing to a mash-up of some of KC & The Sunshine Band’s greatest hits.
Despite delighting the audience with their epic moves, Craig said that he would have wanted better hip action from the radio presenter.
He reiterated this point of view later on when showering Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps star Will with praise for his Samba, telling the actor: ‘There was so much hip content, I think you need to go backstage and teach Tyler a thing or two about that.’
This quip prompted shock from the audience and his fellow judges, as Craig added: ‘Just saying!’
Several viewers criticised the harsh comment, while also pointing out that Craig ended up giving Tyler and Will the same score despite comparing their performances.
‘Again no need for Craig’s dig at Tyler,’ one person said, while another added: ‘It felt extremely strange for Craig to insult Tyler by saying Will should teach him a thing about it and then score will the same as Tyler WHAT is going on.’
‘That was a bit unnecessary from Craig about Tyler considering he just went on to give him the exact same score,’ someone else stated, as another wrote: ‘Ouch that comment from Craig was a bit over the mark, too personal and put both Will & Tyler in a very uncomfortable position. Uncalled for.’

On the other end, Ellie Taylor and Johannes Radebe were at the bottom of the leaderboard with a score of 31 out of a possible 40.
