Ant and Dec have shared a video thanking fans after they won their 21st consecutive NTA for best presenter at Thursday’s awards.
The Geordie due have won the TV presenter award at the National Television Awards for 21 years running despite fierce competition.
and were not able to be at the ceremony this year, however, after they both contracted Covid just days before hand.

They tweeted: ‘We wanted to say a massive thank you once again to everyone who voted for us & for at the !
‘Our fellow nominees are all incredible, we are so honoured to have received these awards. We say ‘received’ but is still going straight to voicemail.’
In a video filmed from home, Ant began: ‘Hi everyone, just wanted to say a massive heartfelt thank you to everybody for voting for us at the NTAs yet again. Honestly, we are over the moon.’
Dec continued: ‘Yeah, we are so sorry we weren’t there to accept the award in person last night but as you probably heard, we were both struck down with the lurgy so we missed it.
‘We haven’t actually got the awards either yet, they haven’t made their way here yet. I’m sure there’s nothing sinister going on but Stephen Mulhern hasn’t quite delivered the awards to us.
‘I’m sure they’re on their way, but a heartfelt thank you once again from us for our award and for the I’m a Celebrity award which… new series, coming soon, back in Australia! Thank you!’
Stephen had accepted the award on their behalf, joking that he would be keeping it as they have enough NTAs on their shelves already.
He said on stage: ‘Listen full respect to the guys, 21 years on the trot – come on. But the reality is, this baby is coming home with me.’
Stephen then brought out a pre-etched plaque of his own name to stick over Ant and Dec’s on the award statue, leaving the crowd in stitches.
