Ariana Grande is dating her Wicked co-star, Ethan Slater, it has been claimed.
The Thank U, Next singer , after two years of marriage.
According to reports, the 30-year-old has sparked a surprising romance with Ethan after they grew close on the set of the upcoming Broadway adaptation.
The Grammy-winner is set to play Glinda on the big screen, while her rumored new beau is starring as Boq, alongside Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey and Michelle Yeoh.
reports that they started dating several months ago, following the end of Ariana’s marriage in January of this year.
‘Ariana and Ethan recently started dating. They have a lot in common and have a lot of fun,’ a source also told .
‘They didn’t start dating until both were broken up with their significant others.
‘Ariana and Dalton remain friends.’
The pair have yet to speak publicly about the rumors, but were pictured looking cozy sitting next to each other at a dinner in London in March, to celebrate Michelle’s Oscar win.
Ariana and Dalton were first linked in February, 2020, and went public with their relationship soon after.
Later that year, the Grammy-winner gave fans a glimpse into their whirlwind romance in the music video for Stuck With U, her collaboration with Justin Bieber.
After a short engagement, they walked down the aisle in a very intimate ceremony in 2021, with just a few lucky guests in the know.
Ariana’s rep told People Magazine at the time: ‘They got married. It was tiny and intimate — less than 20 people.
‘The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.’
The Bang Bang singer recently commemorated their wedding anniversary with a loved-up post on Instagram.
Alongside a selection of rare snaps, including some from their big day, she simply penned: ‘2 (3.5 together!) I love him so.’
Earlier this week, reports emerged that Ariana and Dalton had decided to end their marriage – with the Scream Queens actress pictured without her wedding ring while attending the Wimbledon men’s final on Sunday.
Insiders claimed that the former couple started having problems before she left to film for Wicked in December, and attempted to reconcile.
Dalton is thought to have visited his partner on set in London to work through their issues – but they were unable to save their marriage.
‘They came to the decision together,’ a source also told PageSix. ‘They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends.
‘They’ve been really good friends throughout the entire process, and their friends and families have been trying to protect them.’
