star Maddy Anholt revealed career plans that were in place for her in the near future in her final Instagram post before her death.
In an update shared on a GoFundMe fundraising page, it was confirmed by Anholt’s loved ones that she after being diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of brain .

Her family have set up the fundraiser for Anholt’s one-year-old daughter Opal, while also asking those who wish to show their support to consider donating to , an organisation who she represented as an ambassador.
On 30 June this year, Anholt – who appeared as a guest on This Morning – shared her final post on Instagram before her death.
In the post, she shared her excitement over her first fictional book being published, which a release date set in 2024.
She wrote in her caption: ‘I’ve been quietly working away on this amongst other things. Delighted to say my first fiction will be published next year by an incredible team @uclan_publishing @ampliterary watch this space, as they say.’
The author also shared a photo of a newspaper article, which shared more details about her book being published by an adult fiction imprint being launched by UCLan Publishing.
The article read: ‘The imprint will launch in summer 2024 with Maddy Anholt’s fiction debut, The Gestation Infirmary.
‘Holmes, who is heading the new imprint, acquired UK and Commonwealth rights from Anna Pallai from AMP Literary. Anholt is an author, speaker, actor and Women’s Aid ambassador.’
When Anholt made her announcement on Instagram in June, she received numerous messages of congratulations.
Following her death, tributes were shared in honour of Anholt on social media.
TV star Emily Atack wrote on Instagram: ‘It’s hard to find the words. Maddy Anholt was one of the sweetest, FUNNIEST, gorgeous and most hard working women I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and working with. Just utterly beautiful and so talented.
‘She made me laugh so much. Sending every ounce of my love and support to her family. Such an unbearably tragic loss ❤️.’
Comedian and actor Anna Morris wrote on X (formerly Twitter): ‘Absolutely devastating news today. @maddy_anholt was a lovely, kind and talented comedian and friend. My heart goes out to her family and friends. Am shocked. Heartbreaking news ?.’
