’s Love In The Flesh is a brand-new dating show which follows five young couples who formed a relationship online, but the hustle and bustle of daily life has prevented them from meeting in person.
Until now!
With a beach at their doorstep and spontaneous date nights at their disposal, the hopeless romantics will be testing their budding relationship on a beautiful Greek island.
Although the couples won’t be distracted by their phones and other gadgets, the blurred lines between fantasy and reality soon become evident, and it isn’t long before wandering eyes spark temptation.
Reality star is on hand as the series confidante, as viewers will witness some relationships blossom, while others crumble.
Despite the exotic location and the inevitable drama, be rest assured,
The first two episodes will premiere on Wednesday, March 23, and Thursday, March 24, and the remaining will air weekly.
But who makes up the cast? Here’s a lowdown on all the couples.
Christos and Niki
Restaurant manager Christos, 19, and carer Niki, 22, are both of Greek descent and share similar family values.
However, a three-hour distance between them has halted them from progressing further as a couple, but they have maintained regular contact by speaking on the phone three times a day.
Both Christos and Niki are hoping that all this will be worth the wait when they meet face-to-face.
Niki describes herself as bubbly, ridiculous, and always up for a laugh, while Christos brands himself confident and outgoing.
Sounds like a perfect match to us, but how will they interact in person?
Millie and Shelby
Influencer Millie, 23, and NHS worker Shelby, 24, are very active in the online LGBT+ community.
The pair came close to meeting for the first time, however, Millie suffered a nasty horse-riding accident, which resulted in five surgeries.
Since then, Millie has been documenting her recovery on TikTok, where she quickly gained over 700,000 followers.
While Leicester-based Shelby is also looking to boost her online following through her podcast.
As the couple both share similar interests, could this bring them closer together or lead to a potential creativity clash?
Brandon and Hannah
Student Brendan, 23, and legal assistant Hannah, 24 have had flirty banter right from the start
Initially, Brandon only wanted a no-strings-attached relationship, which resulted in them not speaking for a while, after Hannah made it clear she wanted more.
It definitely did the trick, as Brendan got back in touch with her, and they’ve been inseparable for six months.
Will they be just as crazy about each other in the flesh?
We’ll find out soon enough.
Chibz and Shazelle
Personal trainer Chibz, 23, and receptionist Shazelle, 21, had a pretty rocky start at the beginning.
After arranging two dates, Shazelle stood Chibz up on both occasions.
However, Chibz is hopeful that some alone time in paradise will be a perfect opportunity for the pair to squash any issues.
But the question is, will Shazelle stay or go?
Jess And Kwame
Out of all the couples, this retreat is going to either make or break carer Jess, 24, and entrepreneur Kwame, 28 – as they have been chatting for five years, and have never Facetimed each other.
Naturally, Jess is worried that Kwame is a catfish, as he has been the one refusing to video call.
Will she like what she sees?
Single mum Jess also lives with her two-year-old son, while Kwame lives with his parents.
Will their current lifestyles hinder them from moving forward?
Only time will tell.
Love In The Flesh airs at 10pm on Wednesday March 23 on BBC Three.
