fans claimed that they couldn’t help but notice Queen B may have been struggling duringof her highly anticipated in Stockholm last night.
The global superstar, 41, began her in Sweden on Wednesday night but eagle-eyed concert-goers expressed their worries after it seemed her choreography was pared back.
Used to seeing the mother-of-three bursting with energy from start to finish, Beyonce was reportedly less agile than usual and took more frequent breaks than during her previous performances.
Instead of the signature epic openings fans were calling for, was peppered with slower ballads, sparking concern.
Rumours of a potential injury first circulated after the star performed a special show in Dubai at the opening of Atlantis The Royal.
Fans of the hitmaker expressed their views on Twitter and guessed that she could have been recovering from what was rumoured to be a secret surgery on her foot.
One claimed: ‘Beyoncé ain’t moving her foot and leg must still be mash up [sic]’, while another said: ‘Fantastic opening night.
‘Visually and conceptually her best tour to date. Vocals were moisturized. We gon’ continue praying for your foot, mother @beyonce, but what a great creative spectacle [sic].’
A follower also wrote: ‘Beyoncé performing THIQUE. You can tell her she’s being extra careful with her foot (probably doc orders). With that said, kindly keep your unrealistic ideals/standards to yourself. [sic].’
‘Yea… there is something DEFINITELY wrong with Beyonce’s foot. She isn’t moving or dancing as much as she usually does. She still performing her a** off though [sic],’ a social media user commented on the state of the star’s health.
The performance came after her string of shows was tipped to earn her more than $2billion (£1.6billion), according to Forbes.
The US business magazine said the estimates were based on ‘optimistic’ assumptions on the number of fans buying tickets, and a high average ticket price of $700 (£555).
It added that the estimates also assumed that artists would take home a ‘considerable share’ of merchandise proceeds and pay tour expenses of 20% of revenues.Â
The tour made its debut on May 10 and is Beyonce’s first world visit in seven years.
