Mark Hoppus teased that he will be releasing new music soon, after a tough few months.
The Blink-182 star , months after sharing his initial diagnosis.
In a new interview, the 50-year-old revealed how excited he is to be out and about in LA, and how keen he was to return to the studio.
The I Miss You musician was spotted leaving Craig’s on Saturday night, alongside his wife Skye, when he was questioned on his next steps.
‘Life’s great, I’m glad to be here,’ he said. ‘Just getting back out into it.
‘I most wanted to get back into the studio and get back to playing music and get off my couch.’
When asked if he had new music on the way, Mark added to : ‘Hopefully soon. We’ll see if I can write something happy this time.’
The rocker , explaining that he was being treated for a ‘blood-related’ stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
‘I have cancer. It sucks and I’m scared, and at the same time I’m blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get me through this,’ he said at the time.
‘I still have months of treatment ahead of me but I’m trying to remain hopeful and positive.Â
‘Can’t wait to be cancer free and see you all at a concert in the hopefully near future. Love to you all.’

Sharing an update on his health in September, he announced that he is cancer free – but noted that he still has to attend scans every six months.
He added: ’Just saw my oncologist and I’m cancer free!! Thank you God and universe and friends and family and everyone who sent support and kindness and love.
‘Still have to get scanned every six months and it’ll take me until the end of the year to get back to normal but today is an amazing day and I feel so blessed.
