’s wife has made a public apology for her ‘huge mistake’ and ‘foolish’ actions amid allegations she cheated on him.
Rebecca Vieira – who has been married to the and Blazing Squad star, 38, and – took to Instagram to issue a grovelling apology for her actions.
She wrote: ‘By now most of you would have seen what’s going on. I’ve made a huge mistake, I’ve embarrassed not only my husband but myself and both our families.
‘My actions were foolish and have hurt so many people around us but most importantly my husband. I’ve said a lot of things that I shouldn’t have and it was stupid of me so I won’t sit here and justify my actions, those decisions should have never been made.
‘I want to publicly apologise to my Marcel, just as loudly as the rest of the noise. For all the hurt, embarrassment and pain I have put him through there is nothing and no one in the world that comes before you and our family. No-one could ever compare.
‘I love you beyond measure, with no doubts, with no question, you are my beginning and my end my forever love. I love you.’
Rebecca then posted a close up picture of their wedding bands, which sees his engraved with, ‘Always & Forever’.
Alongside Leona Lewis and Callum Scott’s duet You Are The Reason, Rebecca also posted a video montage of the pair over the years which showed them looking super happy together. lounging in hot tubs, playing in spas, and kissing on their wedding day.
She captioned it with: ‘you.. irrevocably you, undoubtedly you, until my last breath.’
According to, her post comes after a woman known as KD, who is the mother of American singer Slim Jxmmi’s child, alleged Rebecca had been sexting Slim and was ‘cheating on her husband’.
A source told the paper: ‘Marcel is absolutely devastated. Rebecca was his life and he’d changed so many things about his lifestyle to make her happy. Everything he did, everything he worked for was for his wife and his son.
‘The poor guy feels like he’s in a nightmare and he keeps hoping he’ll wake up. For him to know that Rebecca was telling another man she loves him, and then spent Valentine’s Day with him has completely broken him.
‘He doesn’t know what he’s going to do now but he’s moved out of the family home and is living with friends at the moment.’
The pair married in Portugal – where Rebecca’s family are from – in August 2022 after a two-year engagement. They welcomed their son Roman in 2021.
On Rebecca’s birthday before their wedding, Marcel relayed her a sweet public message, in which he said: ‘Happy Birthday My Queen! Literally the most amazing person I’ve ever met in my life. Seeing you reach another year of life fills my heart with joy! I feel like these are the most blessed years I’ve ever had and I hope it’s the same for you!
‘Over the years of knowing you I’ve seen you flourish as a friend, a girl friend, a fiancée, a mother and soon to be a wife! And I can’t wait to see you grown even more. I love you beyond words! Your love called to me and from that day I wanted to take care of you.
‘The same way love has touched us at time when thing weren’t the brightest. The love we found saved us and brought us here. I can’t wait to marry you… Happy Birthday Beautiful I Iove you.’
The pair previously suffered a miscarriage in 2019, and Marcel opened up about it in an interview with OK! Magazine at the time.
‘We don’t really like to talk about it,’ he said.
‘We found out we were pregnant very early in our relationship, and both felt like we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together, so we were getting ready for the baby.
‘And then we found out we had a miscarriage. We both took it really badly. It took a little while for us to get over it, but it did make us stronger because when you go through something like that, it makes you be there for the other person.’
As well as being a member of Blazin’ Squad, Marcel took part in the third series of the ITV2 dating show Love Island in 2016.
