All eyes were on as fans followed his journey into finding the perfect Viscountess in season two of , but what about his love life away from the regency drama.
Although the second instalment dubbed down on the nudity – much to the dismay of the majority – the longing looks and sexual tension between Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan) and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) had fans captivated from beginning to end.

Jonathan is a 33-year-old actor from Oxfordshire.
One of his major roles was starring as Leonardo Da Vinci in the CBBC series Leonardo in 2011.
Many might recognise him from his role in the hit ITV series Broadchurch, which he starred in alongside Olivia Colman and David Tennant.
Jonathan also made a cameo on Michaela Coel’s Channel 4 comedy Chewing Gum.
It was announced in September 2021, that he would be starring opposite Rocketman actor Taron Egerton at the in London from March 5 – June 4 2022.
The title of the play in question is ‘C**k’, a play originally written by Mike Bartlett in 2009, however, Jonathan and Taron why the title was given such a name.

Jonathan won a Laurence Olivier Award in 2019 for best actor in a supporting role in a musical for his portrayal of Jamie in the 2018 West End revival of Company.

He explained: ‘I reached a point where I thought, “F**k this”, I’d much prefer to hold my boyfriend’s hand in public or be able to put my own face picture on Tinder and not be so concerned about that than get a part.’
Jonathan had previously told Sir Ian McKellen: ‘I was coming to terms with my own sexuality, I hadn’t necessarily hidden it, but I’ve never been not honest about it.
‘It’s just there had never been a need to talk about it. There’s a sense of shame, I think, that’s palpable throughout gay men within the industry.’
