Last season focused on Daphne Bridgerton, played by . By now, most fans will know that Dynevor has famous parents—Coronation Street actress and Emmerdale writer Tim Dynevor.

Who is Bessie Carter?
Bessie Carter, 27, plays Prudence Featherington in Bridgerton, sister to Philipa (Harriet Cains) and Penelope ().
Before being cast in Bridgerton, Bessie had roles in movies like Les Miserables, The Good Liar, and Howards End. She has also appeared in TV shows including Cranford, Doc Martin, and Beecham House.
Who are Bessie Carter’s parents?
Bessie’s parents are actress Imelda Staunton and actor Jim Carter.
Her mum, Imelda Staunton, is known for her roles in films like Vera Drake, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Shakespeare in Love, while her dad, Jim Carter plays Mr Carson in Downton Abbey and has appeared in movies like Transformers: The Last Knight, and Shakespeare in Love alongside his wife.
Imelda Staunton and Jim Carter have been married since 1983, and Bessie is their only child together.
Bessie has acted in the same movies and TV shows as her dad, including The Good Liar and Cranford.
But when asked on Good Morning Britain if he would act in Bridgerton with his daughter, Jim Carter said: ‘Do you think I would be disloyal to Downton Abbey? My goodness, no. It is far too raunchy for Carson, is Bridgerton. Can you imagine Carson in Bridgerton? Or Jim Carter even?’
However, following the popularity of the first season, Jim Carter also told Hello! magazine: ‘We’re delighted, it’s been a huge success. Bessie has had a wonderful time doing it. I’m thrilled on her behalf.’
