d’Ormale, who married The Truth star in 1992, told test results showed her red blood count was ‘a little low’ and she would need ‘specific treatment.’

In his latest update this evening, d’Ormale said an oxygen tank had been installed by Bardot’s bedside although she had only needed to use it ‘a little this afternoon.’

Explaining Bardot was ‘recovering’, he added: ‘Her pulse is fine, her heart too and her blood pressure is good but things are still fragile.
