returned to screens tonight, and after a two-year hiatus, fans were .

From astonishing singers to a robot roasting , the series kicked off with talent from all across the country, even stretching to different parts of the world.

Dance group Les Sancho travelled from Marseille to have a chance to impress Simon, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams.

They didn’t disappoint as the audience were left on their feet and the judges awarded them an anonymous ‘yes’ across the board.

However, this isn’t the first time Les Sancho have taken to a talent stage and scored acclaim from judges.

In fact, in 2020, Les Sancho auditioned for France’s version of the show, titled ‘La France a un incroyable talent’, and even received the golden buzzer from guest judge and comedian Ahmed Sylla, boosting them through to the final stage of the show.

They managed to finish in an impressive third place and are now trying a different country’s stage to get one step further.

While they may not have received a golden buzzer on tonight’s show, they certainly did win the hearts of the audience and judges.

‘For us, Britain’s Got Talent is the biggest Got Talent, it’s the first one, the original one. It’s a step up for us,’ the troupe began.

After their energetic performance, which had Alesha and Amanda screaming with joy along with the audience and Simon sharing some smiles, three members of the panel gave them a standing ovation, while the head judge gave a thumbs-up to the performance.

David called them ‘sensational’ while Alesha said: ‘That was wicked!’

‘I’ve not felt this much joy about a dance group for ages on Britain’s Got Talent, so I am thrilled you came today from France. Merci!’ added Amanda, before the group landed ‘quatre ouis,’ as David said.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk and other publications ahead of the first episode premiering, Alesha said the dance acts this series had really ‘upped their game’.

‘We expect Diversity to come out every year and this year was the first year in a long time where we felt the dance acts have really upped their game,’ she shared.

Britain’s Got Talent returns tomorrow (Sunday) at 7.35pm on ITV.
