viewers were blown away tonight following Immi Davis’ astonishing performance.
At just the aged of nine, the Palladium with a stellar audition, which also left the judges spellbound.
Immi looked relatively shy as she took to the stage in her baggy jeans and tie-dye hoodie, making her rendition of I Put A Spell On You by Jay Hawkins all the more astonishing as she belted out the tune.
Viewers were quick to brand her a ‘mini Amy Winehouse’ after witnessing her killer vocals, and we can definitely hear the resemblance.
Winehouse died in July 2011, and was renowned for her unique, soulful singing voice, which won her Grammys.
It came as no surprise that Immi received a standing ovation from Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, who all gave her a ‘yes’ through to the next round.
Taking to Twitter to express their amazement following Immi’s audition, one viewer wrote: ‘WOW!!! Some Amy Winehouse vibes here … as if she’s only 9’
Another said: ‘Go Immi! Her voice reminds me a bit of Amy Winehouse. Also I love that top!’

One viewer in particular was genuinely convinced that schoolgirl Immi was a ‘reincarnation’ of the Back To Black songstress, tweeting: ‘Is Immi a reincarnation of Amy Winehouse??’
When someone else echoed their sentiments, they replied: ‘Could be possible…… was my first thought to check the date of Amy’s passing.’
People were even questioning why one of the panel , which would’ve sent her sailing through to live shows, joining the likes of Loren Allred, Axel Blake, and Born To Perform, who’ve all been showered by the golden confetti so far this series.
While Immi is very much just starting out in her musical career, she’s already made quite the impression, and even sells her own merchandise.
Her website states that the nine-year-old – who lives in a small town close to London and attends school full-time – has been singing since the age of three, and started taking lessons at five.
She also loves arts and crafts, swimming and riding her scooter, which she somehow finds time for outside of busking and recording in studios.
Time will tell whether Immi will make it through to the live semi finals, where she’ll compete for the £250,000 prize and a spot on the Royal Variety show.
