In new pictures, he was seen following the operation, as he arrived at a storage facility near the family home in Kentwood, Louisiana.
The dad-of-three used a wheelchair to get around, with an unnamed friend appearing to wheel him into the facility.
He opted for a black jacket for the day, and kept his head down throughout, attempting to go unnoticed in a baseball cap.
According to TMZ, Jamie had been struggling with an issue in his leg, and had undergone five surgeries in an attempt to contain the infection, before doctors made the decision to amputate.
Despite his health battles, it was claimed that Britney has no plans to reconnect with her estranged dad after her conservatorship hell.
Jamie was put in charge of overseeing the controversial court order for over a decade, before it was terminated in 2021.
The Toxic singer appeared in court herself to detail the ‘abuse’ she suffered while under the conservatorship, alleging that her life was restricted more than necessary.
Among her claims she alleged that she was blocked from having another child by being made to keep an IUD in her body, and was not even allowed to be driven in a car by her former husband Sam Asghari.
