, best known as the husband of from 1000-Lb Sisters, has died aged 40.

The news was confirmed by his stepmother, Shirley Willingham, to .

His cause of death has not been revealed.

Willingham was a much-loved personality on the TV show and made several appearances.

He met Slaton, 36, at a rehabilitation centre in Ohio last year as they underwent

It came after Slaton was released from the rehab facility in February following weight loss surgery, which Willingham was not yet eligible for.

After Slaton moved back to Kentucky, the couple quickly drifted apart, with rumours quickly swirling that they had separated.

In April, Willingham shared a cryptic post alluding to a split, before it was confirmed that they were no longer together in May.

Slaton is thought to have soon moved on with a younger man, Indiana-based TikToker Greg Morgan, 25.

TLC star Tammy shared her heartbreak with an Instagram post: ‘Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness ❤️❤️’, she wrote.

Willingham’s younger brother has since shared a tribute for him on Facebook.

His post read: ‘I can’t believe I’m even making this post, but today GOD called my big brother home.

‘R.I.P. Caleb Willingham aka Killla K aka Double K aka one-half of the dynamic WWF tag team champions The W Boys aka my biggest supporter in anything I do.

‘You will be forever loved and missed. Until we meet again.’

His friend also penned a sweet tribute: ‘I still can’t believe it’s real. I’ve been crying all day. I already miss him so much. I know he’s up there rejoicing with your mom and pop, though, and I have to be happy for him for that.’

Another commented on the Facebook post: ‘Prayers to you, Tammy, and all his friends and family.’

A 1000-lb Sisters fan page wrote: ‘Rest in eternal peace, Caleb Willingham. My sincere condolences to Tammy, your family, and Caleb’s family.’
