Captain Lee’s Below Deck replacement makes debut as season 11 sets sail

It’s all change on season 11 of , as Captain Kerry Titheradge jumped on board as Captain Lee Rosbach’s replacement, and declared he’s ‘up for the challenge’.

Bravo fans were left heartbroken when the 74-year-old, calling time on our screens after a decade in the wheelhouse.

It was later confirmed that Captain Kerry, , would be stepping in to steer the way.

Season 11 kicks off tonight with a teaser showing that he means business, demanding perfection from his fellow cast members as they set sail around Grenada.

‘I know but I like it that way,’ he shared in the trailer. ‘The easiest part of being a captain is driving the boat, the hard part is the crew.’

Addressing his crew, he continued: ‘We’ll all have good days, full of rainbows [and] unicorns, and then we have some bad days.

‘I expect perfection. You work hard, you’ll be rewarded. You f**k around, I will f**king turn in a heartbeat.’

In a preview clip, he could be seen calling out his fellow yachties, furiously telling : ‘I am so f**king mad. It’s a total disregard for my authority.’

While it’s unclear exactly what went down, his co-star was left shaken by the exchange, telling the camera: ‘I never saw that coming, ever.’

Deckhand Ben Willoughby was another familiar face as he rejoined the head of interior for another stint at sea, but the rest of the cast is filled up with completely fresh faces.

Jared Woodin joined the fold as bosun, leading Ben, Sunny Marquis and Kyle Stillie on the deck.

Fraser’s interior team is made up of stews Cat Baugh, Xandi Olivier and Barbara Pascual, while chef Anthony Icracane is set to serve up some goodies in the kitchen.

This will mark the first series of the original Below Deck without Captain Lee, who became a firm fan favorite in the first season, in 2013, and went on to become a permanent fixture.

However, after he struggled through the latest batch of episodes, and briefly left the boat to focus on his health, he claimed that .

‘I did not quit. I did not retire,’ he said in an interview last April. ‘I was just not invited back. I guess I can see their point of view. They really couldn’t get a straight answer from anyone on how my health was.

‘We came to an agreement, and I’m going to be doing some things for them in the next year. Then, Season 12? I imagine they are going to see what happens with Season 11, with somebody new trying to take over for me, see how they do.

‘If it’s too expensive for them, we’ll see what happens. If the numbers take a tank, would I go back? Yeah.’

Below Deck season 11 premieres on Bravo on Monday, and is available to stream on hayu the same day.
