Any parent would give their children the world, and in Cardi’s case,– revealing she spent over $20,000 (£15,000) on a playground set for them.
To put this into perspective, a full-time worker in the on minimum wage would expect around $15,000 (£11,600) a year.
The WAP singer told the Times newspaper: ‘I just bought this playground set for my kids and it’s huge. It looks insane. And I spent in the 20 thousands for it.’
Cardi, who worked in a strip club before becoming a major music star, is determined to provide the best life possible for her kids, and said that while the playground set ‘is not my biggest purchase ever… this is what I work hard for – my kids.’
She said that simply spending money on your children ‘doesn’t mean that you’re a great parent,’ but explained it ‘makes you feel good.’
‘It makes you feel like that you’re living your childhood dream.’
It’s far from the first time Cardi has splashed out on her kids, earlier this month gifting her daughter a $20,000 Birkin bag for her fith birthday.
The mum-of-two shared sweet snaps from Kulture’s all-pink birthday bash to Instagram, and as well as being showered with gifts was also serenaded by her family to the happy birthday song and given a tiny pink candle.
In her Instagram post to mark the occasion, Cardi – born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar – shared a few pictures of Kulture playing her mini pink piano, and wrote: ‘My baby is five….Happy birthday to my pretty princess.

Cardi and Offset and went on to welcome their two children, while the rapper is also father to sons Jordan Cephus, 13, and Kody Cephus, 8, and daughter Kalea Marie Cephus, 8, from previous relationships.
