is officially back on our screens and there’s not long to go before the toughest challenge yet.
Gregg Wallace, 57, and John Torode, 56, are back in the MasterChef kitchen once again to guide a crop of .Â
So far, we’ve seen a gutted while had us in hysterics before he was devastatingly knocked out.
The competition is quickly whittling down, and this week we’ll see the third heat begin featuring actors Clarke Peters and Lesley Joseph, former footballer Jimmy Bullard, presenter Kirsty Gallacher and comedian Richard Blackwood take the heat of the kitchen.
Last year’s series saw Paralympic champion  crowned the winner, and she appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Just months later.Â
But who will be taking over as reigning champion this year, as the one celeb is crowned 2022 winner – and it’ll be in the current studios for the last time.
Where is Celebrity Masterchef filmed?
The series is filmed at 3 Mills Studio in East London, and has been since 2014.
The home of Killing Eve and Million Pound Drop filming sets, the studios have filmed Celebrity Masterchef as well as the normal BBC One competition series.
But things are soon about to change as as part of a multi-series deal keeping the show on the BBC for six more years.
The exciting development – which is part of the Beeb’s Across the UK plans to expand outside  – comes as part of an agreement between BBC and the show’s producer Shine TV which means all programmes will be made at  creator ’s new Digbeth Loc. Studios complex in the Midlands from 2024.
This will include the main MasterChef series on BBC One plus professional and celebrity spin offs,Young MasterChef and any festive editions.
The move marks the first time the original MasterChef will be produced outside of London since 2001, with the original series filmed at Maidstone Studios in Kent for 11 years following its launch in 1990.
Celebrity MasterChef continues on Tuesday at 9pm on BBC One and is available to watch on iPlayer.
