The Oscar winner debuted a new striking jet-black hairdo at an event for her charity on the Universal Studios backlot.
The 46-year-old, who is rarely without her trademark luxurious blonde locks, obviously made a dramatic alteration to her look this weekend.Â
The star opted for a casual-yet-chic look that included a crisp white blouse tucked into a high-waisted pair of blue jeans with her dark tresses pulled back from her face with neutral makeup, and finished off with a simple black Dior purse.Â
She welcomed a dazzling array of stars to a fete for Charlize Theron’s Africa Outreach Project, which aims to combat HIV and AIDS on the continent.Â
This included franchise mainstay Jordana Brewster as well as her Atomic Blonde co-star, Algerian actress Sofia Boutella.
Though the Monster star was without her trademark blonde locks currently, this isn’t the first time she’s gone to the dark side when it comes to her hair.Â
She debuted a cropped dark chocolate bob at the 2019 Oscars after her stylist Leslie Fremar showcased the look to her followers on Instagram.
The Hollywood powerhouse shut down the Oscars red carpet in a gorgeous powder-blue Dior gown, which perfectly offset her chopped bob.
Charlize also previously rocked a dark brown bob with baby bangs back in 1999, famously dyed her hair black for Aeon Flux in 2005, and went back to chocolate brown for two different film roles in 2007.
