when he waters broke unexpectedly in her sleep.
‘It was a bit of a random, unexpected, wet night last night,’ the star told her 1.3million Instagram followers yesterday evening.
The personality, 30, isn’t due to welcome her second baby boy until next week, but it looks as though things are happening a little quicker than expected.
Charlotte is already mum to , and she announced earlier this year .
‘You couldn’t write it, I’ve just done my tan and my waters break’ the star said, joking that ‘tanning Thursdays’ was probably the worst ever time for this to happen.
‘It’s been a bit of a mad 24 hours, I had this big gush of water come last night,’ she continued.
Luckily, her waters breaking didn’t ruin that tan – ‘thank god.’
But it wasn’t all jokes, as Charlotte admitted the doctors were ‘worried’ about her baby, as she explained: ‘This is minging to say, but I had brown stuff, and obviously they thought it could be old blood and stuff so that was a bit of a worry.’
Also, the baby’s movements had ‘got a bit slow’.
Thankfully, on inspection – and when ‘the jelly was on the belly’ – he began to wriggle around a bit more, at which point Charlotte experienced mini contractions, which she describes as similar to really bad period pain.
The doctor also went ‘down there’ to see what the water-breakage situation was, and found it was her ‘back waters’ that broke, not the front ones ‘that pop’.
‘So everything’s fine, no infection or anything,’ Charlotte reassured her followers, but added she had to be careful as there was a risk of infection still.
‘I’m not dilated yet. But she could feel his head,’ the star – who is daughter of comic Les Dawson – explained.
‘I just didn’t expect it last night, because I didn’t have any pains or anything. It was really weird these waters breaking, because I just didn’t have any pain. I had bits of pain, and I just had to sit through it,’ she added.
As the hospital was ‘busy’ Charlotte got sent home, ‘still with bumpalicious’ as there was ‘no point waiting around’.
But last night, Charlotte was struggling to sleep, even though she was ‘knackered’ having not slept the night before.
The solution? Some ‘lovely buttery toast’, a cuppa, and the new Whitney Houston film.
Not long now… You got this, Charlotte!
