threw one hell of a baby shower over the weekend.
The 30-year-old TV star and the loved-up couple hosted a festival-themed bash to celebrate their forthcoming arrival.
Charlotte – who is already a doting mum to toddler Noah – looked incredible on the day with her bump on full display.
Nicknaming the bash ‘Babychella’, Charlotte’s guests were treated not only to towering cakes but even a pancake hut.
The soon-to-be mum-of-two totally transformed her Blackpool garden into a festival-themed hideaway that was kitted out with disco balls, neon sights and balloons galore.
Charlotte announced she was pregnant in February, ten months after .
Opening up about her pregnancy, Charlotte revealed it was actually Matt who first suggested she might be expecting.
‘Matthew is like my period person – he knows when I’m due on,’ she explained.
The Ex on the Beach star added : ‘He was like, “You’ve not been on,” and I was like, “It’s been a day!” I was stressed from doing pantomime, so I just put it down to that.
‘Then I was really, really tired one day and I felt really ill. So I said, “Matt, I just think we should do a test”.’
The TV personality shared the sad news that she’d miscarried last April, writing on Instagram at the time: ‘It’s been an extremely tough week mentally but also obviously physically.
‘I am heartbroken beyond words.. and I know I’m never quiet on here, & always so open and honest with you guys so it’s been a shock to you all.’
She continued: ‘Unfortunately I’ve suffered with a miscarriage. Obviously our families & close friends have known about me being pregnant, but didn’t announce anything until I got further down the line.
‘I was so excited to share our happy news with you all. Noah’s little brother or little sister, as you can imagine Matthew & I were absolutely over the moon our little family was going to be growing.
‘I also found out on mother’s day which was just so special. But sometimes it’s just not meant to be, I really thought it was but it just wasn’t this time. Miscarriages are so common & not spoke about enough. We are so heartbroken right now have no words.’
Charlotte also kept fans updated throughout her pregnancy with Noah, often sharing honest posts about her experience.
She admitted that she ‘struggled mentally’ being pregnant during a pandemic, especially after being diagnosed with gestational diabetes, which requires her to change her diet to monitor her glucose levels.
