Speaking to , the Marvel legend admitted he’s ‘experienced something much worse.’
‘I’ve had the slow decline in text responses, and you just know the person is pushing you aside casually.’
He added that he would ‘prefer being ghosted,’ because at least you could ‘make up any story you want’ about why the person suddenly stopped replying to you.
The dating woes are far behind Chris however, as he recently went public with his relationship with fellow actor Alba, with teh pair believed to be together for over a year.
Rumours of a romance between the pair began last year when they were spotted holding hands, with one source claiming they had been quietly dating for over a year and Chris had ‘never been happier.’
And in January of this year, they took the big step of going Instagram official as the Captain America star share a ridiculously cute video of the couple scaring each other.
The clip sees Chris and Alba take turns at jumping out and shouting at each other to give one another a fright, with Chris rolling on the floor in laughter multiple times.
As the rumour mill whirled over the pair’s potential relationship last year, one source told People Magazine that the rumoured couple had been together for over a year and it was ‘serious.’
They added: ‘They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her.’
Alba, a Portugese-Brazilian actress, began her career in her native Portugal as a teenager, with multiple roles in films and TV shows, and has since branched out to English-language roles, starting with a leading part in Netflix’s Warrior Nun.
