It appears the ice has melted for and Vanessa Bauer, who have reportedly called time on their romance.
The partners confirmed they were an item just one day ago, following months of speculation after they were paired together on the latest series of the skating show.
Yesterday, 26-year-old Vanessa said she was ‘very happy’ with the former Towie star, 32, when grilled on their relationship.
‘Me and Joey, we’re doing very good – we are doing really good at the moment,’ the figure skater said.
When asked if they are romantically happy, the star added to The Sun: ‘I’m very happy.’
Vanessa also addressed speculation of a split after she jetted off on holiday recently without Joey, claiming she simply needed time to herself after the show.
‘Dancing on Ice is so intense and I feel everybody needs downtime after the show,’ she said. ‘I needed time out after the show and I feel after six seasons of doing it, I feel like Thailand is my happy place. There is a lot more bikini pictures to come.’
She also praised Joey, hailing him a ‘very serious guy behind closed doors’ who ‘works so hard’, adding that they ‘won anyway’, despite coming
Alas, a source has now claimed that reality star Joey wants to focus on his career, rather than be tied down with a relationship.
‘Joey absolutely loved his time performing with Vanessa on Dancing On Ice – he will treasure those memories forever,’ the insider began.
‘But for now, he’s focussing on work opportunities and beginning a new chapter in Dubai,’ they added, as the I’m A Celebrity campmate is reportedly eyeing up a move overseas to start a new life.
‘He’s definitely single and while Vanessa means a lot to him because of the experience they shared on the show, they’re just friends now.’
The source concluded by saying that ‘Joey has a busy life and career’ and his house move is a ‘massive change for him’, so he wants that to be his ‘main priority’.

The stars managed to make it all the way to the final before coming second, as gymnast Nile and pro partner Olivia lifted the trophy.
Meanwhile, Drag Race star The Vivienne – real name James Lee Williams – and partner Colin Grafton came in third place, narrowly missing out on the chance to skate Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean’s iconic Olympic Bolero.
