Next to his caption he posted pictures of himself, Victoria and their children at a Japanese tea house alongside two traditionally-dressed geisha, the country’s iconic professional female entertainers and hosts – of which there are now just around 1,000 left.
The Beckhams were dressed casually for the event, with Victoria in black and David in a cream collared pullover and brown trousers as they posed with Cruz and Harper at the customary low table in front of the tea service.
Victoria posed in one of her pictures alongside a geisha while holding a fan, wearing her long hair loose, while David also took the opportunity for a solo photo.
However, dad-of-four David was not messing around when it came to the family’s focus on Japan’s famous cuisine, sharing several snaps of them enjoying various meals.
He got a smiling shot of Harper as she negotiated her chopsticks and bowl full of noodles, as well as Cruz mid-bite in a group picture.
Victoria was also seen throwing a peace sign in one restaurant-based picture, in a move reminiscent of her Posh Spice days, as Harper held up her chopsticks.
The 49-year-old shared some photos from a shopping trip as well on Sunday, with Harper – who islike her mum – beaming in an arcade, dressed in a skirt and hoodie, as well as her toting a mini Louis Vuitton bag as she enjoyed eating some candyfloss.
David, Victoria, Cruz and Harper also ventured out of Tokyo to visit the Sagano Bamboo Forest in Kyoto.
Meanwhile David was intent on giving his followers a look at everything on offer at the Kyoto food market.
Filming a mini clip of Harper trying some pork gyoza – which she called ‘amazing’ – David admitted he was an ‘embarrassing dad taking Japanese’ as he tried a few words in the language at the end of the video.
Aspiring singer and musician was then recorded trying to play a little Beatles on a shamisen, a traditional plucked string instrument, while the family also visited .
David and Victoria are also parents to Romeo, 20, a new forward for Brentford B on loan from club Inter Miami, and 24-year-old Brooklyn, who is married to actress and heiress Nicola Peltz, 28.
