He has tattoos from his feet and now has a new piece of art on his left hand.
Giving fans a glimpse of the tattooing process at Shamrock Social Club, the footie star shared a series of pictures on Instagram.
He snapped a selfie while sitting in the chair as revered artist Mark Mahoney got to work.
The sporting icon’s other inkings were on full display in the pics he posted, such as the birds on the side of his head – now visible again since he buzzed his locks off.

David didn’t give us a close-up of his new ink, although some fans in the comments suspected he could simply be touching up the cursive ‘Victoria’ already there.
‘Didn’t think you had any room left for more. ???’, one follower joked.
‘“How many tattoos do you want David?” David: Yes’, another quipped.
David braved the needle and got his first inking back in 1999 when he was playing for Man Utd.
His first inking was in honour of born on March 4, with the aspiring chef having now followed in his dad’s footsteps and got a plethora of tats himself.
