celebrated his performance at the Queen’s in his favourite way – by grabbing a curry from his local curry house.
The singer, 31, had marking Queen Elizabeth II’s 70 years on the throne over the weekend, before heading to his favourite Indian restaurant on the way home.Â
Ed had revealed his big plans in an interview ahead of his performance at , for ‘daddy duties’ after welcoming his second baby, adding: ‘I think we’re going to have a curry.’
He stopped by the Curry India restaurant near his home in Framlingham hours after his performance, where he happily posed for photos with restaurant manager Belal Mintu, 34, who’d asked him to pick up his food in person.
The kind-hearted star also posed with Belal’s daughters, Mahdiya, eight, and Nabeeha, six, before heading home to enjoy his meal.
He’d ordered his favourite dish, a paneer tikka chilli masala costing £9.55, as well as rice and naan bread.Â
The restaurant posted photos of Ed grabbing his meal on the local Facebook page, telling its followers: ‘Legend back form Platinum Jubilee and had he’s (sic) ‘Paneer tikka Chilli massala”.
‘Thank you very much Our local hero you are such a wonderful person. Money doesn’t change you… we are proud of you. Thank you for your time. Kids was very happy to see you.’ (sic)
The owners also revealed that Ed has been visiting the curry house for over a decade and ‘always loves our curry’.
Ed grew up in Framlingham and still lives nearby on a sprawling estate nicknames Sheeranville by the locals.Â
