has shrugged off concerns about the infamous ‘cursed’ yellow bean bag.
On last year’s summer season of the reality dating series, among the Islanders that it brought drama to anyone who dared to sit on it.
Explaining the theory at the time, Tash Ghouri said it was a ‘very proven fact’ that the bean bag ‘does bring drama every time someone sits on it’.
‘So obviously if you want to go sit on it, I wish you well, but you’ve basically brought it on yourself because the drama happens,’ she added.
At the time Ekin-Su even for some of her bust ups with Davide Sanclimenti, who she went on to win the series with.
But while the couple, both 28, , Ekin-Su is now taking back control and not letting the bean bag curse theory sink in any further.
Posting on social media this week, Ekin-Su shared a video of the bean bag on the balcony of the London home she formerly shared with Davide.
She captioned it: ‘Lol taking this bean bag everywhere don’t care.’
In the clip she was also heard saying: ‘I know it’s bad luck but this bean bag has been very iconic in my life and I’m not gonna get rid of it just because of bad luck.’
‘You are coming with me wherever I go,’ she added.
Late last month Davide announced that he and Ekin-Su had broken up after just under a year together.
Tagging his ex, he began by saying that they were ‘no longer together’.
‘I am grateful for the memories and opportunities we shared together and wish her nothing but the best,’ he continued.
‘I would like for everybody to respect this decision during this difficult time I will continue to support Ekin in any way possible.’
Then, earlier this week, Ekin-Su, first thanking people for all of their messages of support.
After explaining she had taken some ‘much needed time away’ with her family in the wake of the break-up, she said was ready to ‘realign and get back to work’.
