star Angus Cloud has died aged 25.

The actor – who played Fezco in the HBO drama starring and Jacob Elordi – died at his family’s home in Oakland.

Cloud’s family told : ‘It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.’

They continued: ‘Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.

‘Angus was open about his battle with and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.

‘We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.’

Cloud’s family did not state a cause of death for the actor. 

Apart from his breakout role in Euphoria, Cloud’s other credits include roles in The Line and cameos in music videos for artists like Becky G, Karol G and Juice WRLD.

He was recently cast opposite Melissa Berrera in a new horror movie at Universal Pictures from Scream 6 directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.

Throughout his two seasons on the show, Cloud shared the majority of his scenes with Emmy award winner Zendaya (Rue Bennett) and Maude Apatow.

He won a role in the show after being scouted by casting director Jennifer Venditti.

Tributes have been pouring in for Cloud, with US superstar Chloe Bailey tweeting: ‘wow angus cloud gone too soon.. rest in peace angel.’

Euphoria’s official Twitter account also shared a statement alongside a black and white snap of the star.

The post read: ‘We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family.

‘We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.’

The actor, who was born in 1998, had a younger brother and twin sisters.
