Fans set to attend ’s headline gig at in this weekend are furious as it has been announced the event will end early because of the final.
On Wednesday, in the semi-final of the UEFA European Football Championship, meaning they have made it to the final match and will face on Sunday for the last game of the tournament.
This has caused huge excitement across the UK for football fans with many to allow workers to watch the match.

Wireless Festival has now received backlash from music fans as it was announced that they would be ending the event early because of the football.
In an announcement on its site, the festival announced: ‘Rockstar Energy presents Wireless will now finish at 7 pm on Sunday 14th July to give you plenty of time to travel home to watch the EURO final England vs Spain match.
‘The festival is going ahead as planned on Sunday and will perform a full headline set.’
The festival was supposed to finish around 9.30pm but because of time constraints,and Digga D have now been pulled from the performance list.
The headliner for Sunday is Doja Cat with other acts in the setlist to be Don Toliver, Rema, and Uncle Waffles. Doja’s headline gig will now begin at 5.45 pm and finish at 7pm.
Fans took to social media to complain about this change of plan. Many expressed that they did not care at all about football and were baffled by this choice from the organisers.

Many other fans couldn’t understand why the organisers didn’t just play the game on a big screen at the event, which would have been a great way to include football fans in the festival.

Another London festival, Kew the Music, announced that it would also be bringing forward the schedule for Sunday.
This was met with a warmer reception from fans with some saying it was a ‘great call’.
At Kew the Music earlier this week, Ronan Keating sang ‘It’s Coming Home’ on stage as he announced the final score.
