First star joining line-up for Love Island’s 2023 summer series ‘revealed’ to be entrepreneurial economics graduate

The first star joining the cast of the 2023 summer series of has been revealed, it’s been reported.

Earlier this year, and were crowned the winners of the winter edition of the ITV2 show, beating fellow couples and , who were the runners-up, and and , who finished in third place.

and also made it to the final, leaving the villa in the fourth spot.

While the line-up for the next series being hosted by is yet to be announced, it’s been claimed that one future islander has been unveiled as economics graduate Andre Furtado.

According to , the 21-year-old, who completed a three-year degree in business economics and is the co-founder of fashion brand Social Kids, will be entering the villa in Majorca next month.

‘Andre is the perfect Love Island signing… he’s cool, calm, collected, and ready to mingle,’ a source said.

‘He knows himself but without being arrogant and producers are hoping his intellect, as well as his creativity and handsome looks will make him a favourite among the females.’

The Instagram account for Andre’s fashion line Social Kids, which he’s modelled on his personal profile, is currently set to private despite amassing 17,500 followers.

Andre’s most recent Instagram post was shared in March this year, where he posted three pictures of himself wearing a brown jumper, a black hooded gilet and light khaki trousers.

‘Ainda nem cheguei mas já sentiste à presença,’ he wrote in the caption, which translates to mean: ‘Ain’t even there yet but you already felt the presence.’

In September last year, he shared a post showing himself lounging on a bed wearing a brown T-shirt with a Social Kids logo.

The website for Social Kids currently gives the option for people to subscribe for early access to the site.

This week, Love Island’s Tom, who was on the 2023 winter series, announced that he was , Macclesfield FC.

‘Where do I start… this club has been right behind me throughout everything, the most I’ve ever enjoyed my football has been at this special club, the good times are unmatched and we’ve created memories that I will remember for the rest of my life,’ he wrote.

‘The decision for me to leave has been my decision and has been so tough, but now in my life there’s just too many opportunities that I just cannot turn down and moving down to London plays a huge part in that.’

The reality star thanked fans for their support, urging them to ‘keep supporting the lads’ and promising that he’ll try to come to ‘as many games as I can’.
