Forest Whitaker’s ex-wife, Keisha Nash-Whitaker, has died at the age of 51.
The sad news of her death was , on Instagram.
Taking to her story, True posted a selection of pictures of her late mother, beside a heart-wrenching tribute.

‘Thank you for teaching me every single thing I know.
‘I’ll see you in my dreams and I’ll feel you in my heart.’
True posted more pictures of her mom set to A Song For You by Donny Hathaway, and At Your Best (You Are Love) by Aaliyah.
Keisha’s cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
Forest met his former partner on the set of Blown Away in 1994, where they played on-screen lovers and they soon became close.
Aside from her role in Blown Away, beside Forest, Jeff Bridges, Tommy Lee Jones and Cuba Gooding Jr, Keisha was known for her work on multiple projects, including Kassim the Dream and Proud.
The former couple went on to tie the knot two years later in Montego Bay, before welcoming two daughters together – Sonnet and True.
The Black Panther actor is also dad to son Ocean, while the actress shares daughter Autumn from a previous relationship.
Their relationship wasn’t to last and Forest filed to end things in 2018, after 22 years of marriage.
In legal documents, he cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation.
