Former child star Skai Jackson has been arrested after a public fight with her boyfriend, it has been claimed.
The 22-year-old, in Jessie, was reportedly taken into custody last week, following an argument.
According to multiple US reports, the couple were at Universal CityWalk in LA on August 9 when security guards saw them rowing.
Law enforcement officers told that the actress was witnessed pushing her partner – whose name has not been shared – more than once.
Guards reportedly detained the pair until officers arrived on the scene, .
She was released a few hours later, the outlet reports, and both denied that things became physical – insisting that they are happily engaged and expecting a child together.
Officers are said to have looked at video footage of the incident and acted – the LA County District Attorney’s Office is currently reviewing the case to determine whether charges are necessary.
Skai has been active on social media after the arrest but does not appear to have addressed the situation publicly.
She has also kept her boyfriend’s identity private and has not shared any pictures of him on social media, or referred to him at all.
Following an appearance in Sesame Street in 2006, Skai made her film debut in 2007’s Liberty Kid, before clocking up stints in The Rebound, My Dad’s A Soccer Mom and Sheroes.
She also popped up in Dora the Explorer, Boardwalk Empire and a hand full of Marvel Rising projects over the years, playing Glory Grant.
However, her stint as Zuri in long-running Disney Channel series Jessie cemented her status on our screens.
She made her debut on the program in 2011, playing a member of the wealthy Ross family who live on the Upper West Side in Manhattan, when they come face-to-face with a new nanny, Jessie (Debbie Ryan).
Cameron Boyce, Kevin Chamberlin, Karan Brar and Peyton List also made up the cast before it came to an end in 2015.
Skai went on to reprise the role with cameos in Austin & Ally, Good Luck Charlie, Bunk’d and Ultimate Spider-Man.
