has opened up about her pregnancy hours after announcing the news on social media, saying she ‘doesn’t take it for granted’.

The couple, who soared to victory together on in 2018, both shared a picture of Stacey’s baby bump, as the TV presenter wrote on Instagram ‘Gaaaaaaang….. We are having a baby! ?So bloody delighted. Kev, you’re magic, I love youuuu.’
On Friday evening, Stacey made an appearance on , as she was quickly congratulated on her pregnancy by co-hosts Michelle Ackerley and Ronan Keating.
‘I can’t quite believe it. I’m delighted actually, I feel really lucky,’ Stacey said in response.
‘Because I’m 35, so you never sort of take it for granted. But I can’t quite believe I’m going to be in charge of a little human being.’
In Stacey’s Instagram caption about her pregnancy, she explained that it was ‘becoming impossible to hide’, before adding: ‘If one more person asks me if I’ve had my t*ts done in LA I’m gonna scream.’
She ended her caption with an excited sign-off writing: ‘Here goessssssss.’
Meanwhile Kevin, who was in the pro line-up for Strictly from 2013 to 2019, wrote in his own post: ‘We’re having a baby! ❤️❤️❤️And I think my girl @sjdooley looks beautiful pregnant.’
Fans and friends rushed to congratulate the couple, fellow pro dancer and Kevin’s ex-wife Karen Hauer writing: ‘Congratulations!! So happy for you both.’
‘Such wonderful news!!!!??? congratulations to the both of you!!!’ said dancer Katya Jones, while singer Alexandra Burke commented: ‘So happy for you both darling ! Best news.’
After Stacey won the Glitterball Trophy with Kevin on Strictly, she confirmed the following year that she’d split from her boyfriend Sam Tucknott.
Her relationship with Kevin was later confirmed, with the couple going from strength to strength since.
Kevin was previously married to Karen from 2015 to 2018, while Karen tied the knot with her husband Jordan Wyn-Jones earlier this year.
Stacey previously spoke about the attention on her relationship with Kevin, saying on Loose Women: ‘I did [struggle] initially, I did at the start. I didn’t realise there would be such an interest, particularly with who I fancy and who I’m dating. I thought that was dull for everyone else.’
She added at the time: ‘Now, Kev and I have been together for two years, so no one’s really that fussed anymore, and we’re so dull!’
