– best known as on Channel 4’s – celebrated his birthday on Friday, but three days prior, spoke candidly about how he was feeling in the run-up to the big day.
Telling his fans he was ‘as motivated as ever’, doting dad Fred shared a snap of his shirtless torso and revealed he’s continuing to ‘push himself as hard physically as he’s always done’. It certainly looks that way.

The Limoges-born dad-of-two went on: ‘Some days are harder than others to get started especially in this cold and injuries are certainly not helping.
‘Still, I’m as motivated as ever, I’m competing against myself and I’m determined to win. It’s all down to discipline and my (ever-changing) daily training routine.’
Fred also revealed what his workout had looked like that morning, penning: ‘Here is what I did: 10 mins cycling, 10 x 1 boxing in heavy bag (45 secs boxing and 15 secs squats / reverse lunges), 10 mins cycling, 10 x 1 boxing in heavy bag (45 secs boxing and 15 secs squats / reverse lunges), 20 mins cycling.’

‘The last few days have been amazing!’ he said of their trip.
Plenty of his famous friends were quick to wish him well, with and both writing: ‘Happy birthday’ beneath his post and This Morning’s Gino D’Acampo adding: ‘Buon compleanno.’
