Sydney from Long Island, New York, will host five men at her home in episode 5 of Five Guys a Week in the hopes of finding love.
Sydney describes herself as “outgoing, effervescent, highly ambitious, and motivated,” but she has struggled to find dates because there aren’t many of them in her little town.
She has been alone for the past year because her previous romance, which took place during her senior year of college, didn’t work out as she had hoped. She is currently looking for a man who is emotionally available, loves and respects her as much as she loves her family, and who shares these traits.
Sydney still lives with her parents, which she dislikes because she had assumed by this time in her life she would be living with her significant other. In order to determine her future life mate, she is now taking an unconventional step by asking five random guys to live with her.

2. Andrew — The “e-commerce operations manager for a non-alcoholic craft beer firm” identifies as an alpha male with strong beliefs and no qualms about voicing them. Since splitting from his fiancee a year and a half ago, he has not been dating. On the show, Andrew is now “looking for the right person.”
3. David – David, a “6th grade teacher” from Endwell, New York, who also received his degree from the same institution, thinks his “soulmate” is not from his hometown but rather is one of the billions of people in the world.
Andrey, a “marketing specialist” from Hackensack, New Jersey, is “extremely awful at communication,” as evidenced by the fact that it took him five months to end a “four and a half year” relationship with his partner.
5. Sir Douglas – A 30-year-old “carpenter for the union” who also “runs a small firearms training business” and “fights professionally,” Sir Douglas is from Yonkers, New York. Although Sir Douglas may have a “rugged exterior,” on the inside he is a “teddy bear” who wants to meet his match and have a family with her.
