star Marnie Simpson has welcomed her second child, saying that her ‘family is complete’.
The reality star announced the exciting news that she and her fiance Casey Johnson have with a black-and-white photo of the new arrival clutching her finger.
‘Baby boy has arrived safe and sound ?,’ she said.
‘We’re completely in awe, our family is complete ?’.
Chloe Ferry commented: ‘Congratulations ?’ while Charlotte Crosby added: ‘Woooooooooooooo’.
Olivia Bowen went on to say: ‘Omg Marnie ?❤️ so happy for you all sending soooo much love congratulations xxxxxx.’
Marnie, who also shares her son Rox with Casey, also shared an update on her Instagram Stories, saying: ‘Guys, baby boy has arrived.
‘I can’t even explain how obsessed we are with him, he is just perfect. What a different experience that was compared to the birth of Rox, which I’m very grateful for.
‘I can’t wait to show you more but me and Casey have chosen to wait a little bit because we want to just enjoy him ourselves for a little while.’
Marnie suffered a traumatic birth with Rox.
She lost two pints of blood and had two blood transfusions during the ordeal, and later suffered from a chronic bladder infection – something that encouraged her to explore other options for when she expands her family.
In a chat with Metro.co.uk, she said: ‘If I was ever to do it myself again, I think I’d get a C-section.
‘I’m never doing that again, it was really bad. I was so poorly.’
Discussing the myth that holding your newborn immediately makes you forget the pains of childbirth, she was having none of it, and added: ‘I don’t know where that comes from.
‘Honestly, that is the falsest thing I have heard. I haven’t forgotten it and I don’t think I ever will. Maybe if people didn’t have any complications and their labour was quite straightforward – maybe they can forget…. even then, I definitely couldn’t.
‘It was just an indescribable pain.’
She and Casey announced they were expecting for a second time in November.
Speaking to new! magazine, the 30-year-old said: ‘We’re so excited and super happy. It was a bit of a shock but we’re just so thrilled!’
Her pregnancy journey wasn’t completely smooth sailing as she was struck by severe sickness, leaving her struggling to eat.
‘With Rox I felt so healthy and glowing and I was a ray of sunshine, but this time I genuinely feel like the walking dead,’ she continued.
Dad Casey, 27, added: ‘I’m really excited. Obviously you’re always going to be a little bit scared, too.’
